I probably need a new computer soon and was wondering if anyone could help recommend me a good PC laptop (if anyone has purchased one recently and they think its good).
looking for something at or below $1000
also wondering if Game maker 8 works on windows 10

I did purchase my laptop recently on Amazon about a year ago. This one: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015790WNI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1It's nice although I don't enjoy using touchpads in general so I use an external mouse. Other than that the computer is pretty good. They've updated windows 10 so I'm not experiencing all the glitches that I did at the start. In answer to the last question, I use both Game Maker 8 as well as Game Maker Studio on this computer, they definitely work! |

I know there is a feature on the amazon page where you can ask such questions. The most modern games I've played on it have been Halo (the very first halo), and Spelunky HD. Both of the games run very well on it. However, I wouldn't know about bigger games, I suspect a bigger computer would be better for that. |
