yeah I think that's looking better! the flies especially seem like a really good detail. the ground could look good as a gradient of only a few different shades becoming darker towards the bottom. gif anytime soon???

vid www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJt38_8LTxgthere's that scene in the 2nd star wars film where they are chasing a bounty hunter on that big ass city planet with all the traffic and shit and im making something thats like that but you are the bounty hunter and killing targets it wont be that of a stealth game and i still need to work alot on the city [lights and walking things and pubs and stuff) and make it less chaotic and things i dont really know where this game ends and if it will be good, but its fun to make

looks hectic as due. i love that scene in the movie, I was watching it recently and wanted to fly off into that traffic and explore. yeah it always seems much easier to make something crazy and have a lot going on, and it becomes more work to actually slow things down but still have an enjoyable product. it seems to always reveal a lot of flaws in my games and then it becomes a lot more work to make them. this game is one of those games. the easy way out would be to have it really fast and you eat all the animals and last as long as you can. but I want to slow it down and make it more like living the life of the creature and not just on this insane eating frenzy. understand??? it's a bit like dino run at the moment, insane running eating frenzy, any thoughts on the game? arrows www.mediafire.com/download/k3n47fun11a7t8k/animal_survive2.exe

i like the sounds, running feels very hmm explosive? too maybe make the beast omnivore? so you could eat plants too but eating too many plants would make stealth approaches harder because the plants are gone idk
or big ass predators who hunt you, so you really NEED to hide in plants,
mweh idk
or or or simple level up stuff like increasing top speed, nah, animals irl dont level up

working on a fun & easy project now endless runner like canabalt, you just run and jump on buildings and sometimes they explode and start sinking downwards still need to come up with a name for it

hmm I'm trying out some stuffs in 3D I found out that atmospheres can be pretty strong in 3D environments, its cool to play with these sounds you only hear in one ear, really makes the world feel more real I think Im debating if I should focus on gameplay or more on atmosphere, I don't knohow , Im thinking of making it so you have to kill targets in a big metropolis, or or hide from bad bounty hunter guys maybe, or just make a world with wicked ambiences to walk through, without too many gameplay-related distractions, no goal, just explorerere edit : video : or OMG make it a multi-multi-player horror game all the gamejolt kiddos will play it

I'd be really happy just walking around the spaces, this looks excellent. I don't think you should try to throw in a cheap gameplay loop (a mistake I do heaps with games because I feel an urge to make the work fulfil 'game requirements'...). If you're mainly interested in the sounds and atmosphere and moving through rooms, just stick with that I reckon. Just my thoughts. makes me want to do 3D.....
