is there any sort of central goal you might add to the game? for example I once read in ripleys believe it or not book that this guy was on trial for illegally shooting chamois and he got off free because he said he promised his father that he would retire after he bagged his 300th chamois
maybe it could be the same for this dernshous character except instead of chamois, spaceships, or spacemoneys or something but thats just an idea
btw are the ships randomly generated?

download: www.mediafire.com/download/bit3dbdiqa33q2q/dernshous1.zipuse the mouse and wasd, space for warp speed which generates a new area when the icon starts flashing. the ships aren't randomly generated but the crew on the ship is randomly either civilian or armed guys, same with money and cargo.

I have no idea what I'm doing though. sorry, you can shoot the other ships, when they flash you can board them when near. then you sell cargo at stations and upgrade. Did you work this out? other than that it's aimless, and warp-drive just creates a different area each time.

I didn't realize you could upgrade your stuff though. I was a bit confused by warp navigation stuff, so that explains it; I thought the green thing that comes up was a map. it would be pretty cool though if there was a consistent overworld. gonna play et agen :edit: I found a glitch where the view would get all weird after a while and the ship would be stuck at the end or off screen. i think it happened when going back into spess after leaving a ship you've boarded.
