does anyone know a good way to make game sfx? i usually use sfxr, which makes really nice 8bit stuff, but i need something more in the snes or up area.

I only ever use 3 ways to get sound effects: -generate in SFXR -Record them myself with my MIC -download from online sound hosting websites
however im not sure what sort of sounds the snes has so idk

I have a progrom somewhere on a cumputer which was basically sfxr but with more stuff; different channels, more settings etc. Can't find it here atm.
I also sometimes use other effects like reverb and all that cool stuff you can find in music sequencers and things.
