Man, that is one of my all time favorite Pingu episodes. It scared the daylights out of me when I was a kid. Truly terrifying. I also love the one with the little seal friend where he and him acidently hit a ball into this ice cave and they have to try to get out. Also the one with Pingu's eccentric accordion playing uncle is a classic.

pingu episodes are great its a shame there's nothing quite like it nowadays - everything has words and stuff and complex storylines.

Nik, check out Shawn the Sheep. It's a claymation Pingu-type silent protagonist animal shenanigans modern show. The dudes behind Wallace and Gromit did that show. It's not as good as Pingu or Wallce and Gromit imo, but it's better than nothing I guess.

shows like pingu have such a great quality about them, they're really good on a lot of levels. I hate new kids tv shows with the 3D computer animation and the dumb.

while we're talking about how great pingu is, I like how their beaks go all long and they go 'moop moop'.
Also, ditto on Shawn the sheep.

shawn the sheep was okay, but wallace and gromit was fantastic, especially the earliest episodes! I liked the one where they went to the moon to get cheese.

rly enjoy watching videos of how to get out of the game worlds in games. like, into the background scenery. I love the idea of going where you're 'not supposed to go' in games.
not that great I guess, but the idea really appeals to me for some reason. (turn off vid music ruins the atmosphere play some strange refrigerator sound or something instead)

Yeah, when I was a kid and I saw The Close Shave, it scared the day lights out of me. Robot dogs? Canned sheep meat? Rotating spike grinder? That's some pretty serious stuff...
